Human Trafficking is strongly affecting the vulnerable members of our society. We put an end to it! We invite you to participate in the actions of Raise Your Voice this Sunday, 18th go November at Technopolis, from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.. ENTRANCE IS FREE OF CHARGE TO ALL THE HAPPENINGS! ALL THE ACTIVITIES ARE SUITABLE FOR FOREIGN SPEAKERS OF ALL AGES (translators will be provided for English, Arabic and Farsi speakers).

~ 40 million people live as modern slaves, 1 out of 4 are children
~ 25 million people are in forced labor
~ 1 million in slavery in Europe.
~ Greece comes second in Εurope with a population of 7.91 per 1,000 (Global Slavery Index, 2018)

Human trafficking affects the most vulnerable and sensitive of our society. We invite you all to support and participate in Raise Your Voice Festival’s actions from 11:00 in the morning until 23:00 in the evening.

POP UP MARKET OF SUSTAINABLE FASHION DESIGNERS 11: 00-22: 00
Come to meet our favorite Fair Fashion Labels inspired by African, urban and casual culture that fight against human trafficking.
EXHIBITION OF NON GOVERNMENT ORGANIZATIONS 11: 00-18: 00
Visit the NGO stands! Learn about their work, the services they offer to refugees and migrants and take part in the interactive workshops they organize.

LABORATORIES FOR ADULTS FROM INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS 11: 00-18: 00
Informational Workshops by NGOs against violence. We learn how to recognize victims of trafficking and how to react.

CLOTHES RECYCLING POINT & SWAP BAZAAR 11: 00-23: 00
Learn about modern slavery and exchange your old clothes with new! Exchange clothes (women’s, men’s and children’s) and accessories or give them to the recycling point! – You can bring from one to five pieces, in good condition.

UPCYCLING POINT 11: 00-18: 00
Free upcycling workshops. Create your own pieces of wood, cloth and plastic with the help of experienced craftsmen!

CHILDREN’S LABORATORIES – KIDS Corner 11: 00-18: 00
Children’s events, workshops and educational games. Informing children about civil rights by NGOs

ART EXHIBITION 11: 00-23: 00
Art has a voice! Talented artists Greeks and refugees join together and say LET’S END HUMAN TRAFFICKING through mixed media art works. The artworks are also hosted on the humanslavery.gr site with CNN as a sponsor.

COSTUME REPORT 11: 00-23: 00
Famous designers express their support for the event, with unique exhibits.

FILM PROJECTS 11: 00-23: 00
All-day screening of films on Human Trafficking, american and european productions, from International Cinema Festivals.

Movable Checkpoint Unit for HIV and Hepatitis B and C Examinations will be running all day by the Hellenic Association ‘Positive Voice’

CONFERENCE OF INTERNATIONAL SPEAKERS 11: 00-17: 00
The audience will have the opportunity to attend speeches by people with international experience in the fight against human trafficking, as well as personal stories of survivors. Interpretation will be provided in Greek, English, Arabic and Farsi.

PERFORMERS CORNER 12: 00-23: 00
Dance – Music means expression! Iranian and Arabic dances, Performers Corner with live Greek, African and Arab musicians, rappers, all together give their own “voice”!
Concerts and DJ sets will frame the festival throughout the day.
Skate Park and football field for everyone!

ETHNIC & VEGAN FOOD HALLS 11: 00-23: 00
Guests will have the chance to enjoy the tasty world of ethnic and vegan cuisine with the friendly involvement of local social enterprises.

AWARD CEREMONY OF ARTISTS COMPETITION AND SOCIAL DISRUPTORS 18: 00-19: 30
Significant representatives of art and theater will present the European Artist Awards for Human Trafficking and the Social Entrepreneurs Awards of the European Social Disruptors Competition. Of particular importance to all of us will be the presence and speech of victims of Human Trafficking.

ACTIONS 20:00-21:30
A documentary theatre project on refugee reception, by Nicolas Cilins, Yan Duyvendak, Nataly Sugnaux. Over the course of a performance, ACTIONS proposes to constitute an ideal democratic gathering in which asylum seekers, political leaders and volunteers of your city express themselves.
